San Pedro

A neighborhood staple on one of San Antonio's most beloved avenues.

Baking is a promise
you keep every morning.

At The Rose Bush, we believe great bread doesn't happen by accident. It happens with time — real time — and ingredients you'd actually want on your table.

Located on San Pedro Avenue in the heart of San Antonio, we've built our reputation on one simple idea: treat every loaf, every pastry, and every product the way you'd want your own food treated. Slow fermentation. Honest sourcing. No shortcuts.

Baked fresh each morning

Nothing pre-made or frozen

The craft behind
every loaf.

Great baking is equal parts science and patience. Here's how we approach it.

01

Select

We source stone-ground flours from Texas mills and pair them with filtered water and sea salt — just three ingredients, each chosen with care.

02

Ferment

Our doughs rest for 48 hours in the cold. That slow rise develops complex flavors and a crust that shatters, crumb that melts.

03

Bake

We bake in small batches throughout the night, so the first customers walking in get bread that's still warm from the oven.

From our oven
to your table.
